Rental Policy

Glad Tidings welcomes your rental of our facilities under the following terms. We trust your time with us will be all you hoped for.

1. Your rental group will provide Glad Tidings with proof of insurance from your carrier showing primary coverage for all individuals in your group and over all your activities during the rental. Glad Tidings insurance offers secondary coverage only. Signature of this rental agreement by your authorized contact person is agreement that Glad Tidings Bible Camp, Inc. of Bloomfield NE will not be liable for any accidents, losses or damage sustained by you.
   
   
2. An advance deposit of $100 is required to confirm and hold your rental dates. This deposit is refundable up to two months before dates reserved in the peak months of June – August; three weeks advance the rest of the year. This same deposit will be held as the facility damage deposit, fully refundable upon checkout with satisfactory final inspection cleared by the Glad Tidings Director.
   
   
3. Before rental begins your authorized contact person(s) will meet with a Glad Tidings representative to inspect the campus and sign a completed inspection sheet. At checkout time the contact and the Director will make final inspection of the facilities your group may have used.
   
   
4. Glad Tidings reserves the right to assign cabins/rooms best suited for the rental group’s needs. Additional buildings may be rented upon request with approval of Glad Tidings Director.
   
   
5. We normally have one chest freezer as well as cooler space available for your use during your group’s stay.
   
   
6. The following recreational equipment is available for your use: canoes/paddles, and life jackets (which must be worn by all boaters). Please note that you must provide a Lifeguard who is required to supervise all water activities at all times.
   
   
7. Pets are not allowed in any of the buildings.
   
   
8. Glad Tidings’ policy prohibits alcoholic beverages and controlled substances, smoking in any building or around minors, possession of weapons and / or fireworks. Gender separated sleeping arrangements will be maintained for all unmarried persons.
   
   
9. Rental rates per person of your group:
   • $15 per person per day or overnight
   • $10 per private room used


10. Since we don't have professional housekeeping, please realize that we will do what we can with limited time and resources (especially in the summer) to prepare and clean the facilities for your use but it's still camp, that your group will need to provide housekeeping during the duration of your stay, and (especially during the summer), your group will need to make every effort to leave the facilities in the condition you found it.

Additionally, the state of Nebraska requires that each group renting our facilities for a period of more than 48 hours for the purposes described in the definition of a recreational camp, but which furnishes their own "operational" staff for such camp must complete this form.
