The Retreat Center is one of our newest facility.  It consists of three main areas.  The biggest area is the Day Room.  The Day Room is a room designated for meetings of groups small in number.  It can hold approximately 30 people.  In this room, there is a full-sized refrigerator, a microwave, and a sink.  This area is not designed for cooking large meals, but for the occasional snack.  This room is one of the few carpeted rooms in the entire camp.  The whole Retreat Center has both air conditioning and heating, but in the dayroom, there is also a fireplace.

The retreat center is shaped like a "T."  Attached to the Dayroom, at the top of the "T," is the bathrooms.  This bathroom facility can be one giant bathroom.  Or, for co-ed, a door can be closed and locked in the middle to allow designated sides.  In each bathroom, there are 3 sinks, 3 showers, 2 toilets, and 1 urinal.  There is also a counter on each side.  The bathroom floors are warmed during the winter seasons so that the cement floor is bearable to the bare foot.  However, it does not keep the floors warm enough to be completely comfortable on those blistery cold days.

Connected to either side of the bathroom/bathrooms, are two cabins.  These two rooms complete the "T" by adding the cross at the top.  The two cabins are near identical.  Each cabin can hold approximately 15 people comfortably.  The beds are bunk-beds.  There are, upon request, single beds which can be put in each room.  There are mirrors in each room.  Each room has a smoke detector.  These rooms are also climate controlled.

The Retreat Center was created to provide an easily heated building for small groups to have retreats in.  The Dining Hall requires a lot of time and a lot of money to heat and keep heated for the users.  If you have a big group, you might want to look at the Dining Hall page.
