Lake
Robert, which has come to be more fondly called "Lake Bob," is a major
part of Glad Tidings. This lake is used for swimming, canoeing,
fishing, the zipline, and the rope swing. In the pictures, the lake has a lot of
moss. There is usually not that much moss on the lake. It
usually depends on the year. We are working on many different
techniques of weed control, while keeping the lake available for human
activity. If you have any advise on this area, please let us know. Running across the lake is the zipline. It is a cable with a pulley and a bar which allows people to be able to ride out over the water and drop into the deeper areas of the lake. This ride is moderately safe and should not be used during the winter. |
