The Glad Tidings 50th anniversary celebration (July 1 & 2) was a great success. A large group of friends, former campers, staff and leadership made the journey to GT for the weekend.
The weekend was planned to offer camp - style meals, sharing times and activities (even hay rack rides and canteen time !). Sunday morning was a special time of sharing memories and hearing from almost all of those who have served as Director of Glad Tidings. Part of the mix was congregational singing of hymns and choruses from way back, as well as some more contemporary.
Our thanks to all who worked to make this weekend a great time for the GT family. Perhaps we shouldn't wait another 50 years to do something like this....
