Summer Camp: On - Site Summer camp is set up by age
groups. We do allow for some flexibility on ages; should a child
want to drop back a week to be with a certain friend or relative or due to
family vacations or schedule conflicts, it is ok to do so. It is
also ok to move forward a year for the same reasons. Two years out
of an age bracket is frowned upon. However, with a good enough excuse and
based on the maturity of the child, it may be allowed. The age groups are as follows:
COST: $85/child/week
Junior 1 - 3rd &4th grades (8-10)
Junior 2 - 5th & 6th grades (10-12)
Junior High - 7th & 8th grades (12-14)
Sr. High - 9th through HS Graduate
(14-18)

Wilderness Camp: This week of camp is not done
on the camp grounds. We take a small group of 12 campers out into
the Black Hills of South Dakota, where we camp for a week. The
campers learn how to live out of a tent, build their own campsites out
of twine and downed timber, how to rappel and rock climb, how to hike
without getting lost, and various other survival training. We use
the outdoors and isolation as a time to get away and be able to focus
more clearly on God without all the distractions found in civilization.
Because of the smaller group, it is also a very bonding camp. This
is the best deal, money-wise, of all the weeks of camp. However,
it is the most difficult to get into due to the few number of spots left
open. First 12 people to get their applications in get to go.
Everyone else goes on the waiting list.
COST: $95/child

Winter Retreat: This retreat is almost identical to the Fall Retreat
except for one major thing. You guessed it. Its in the winter.
This retreat is very different from the others in that it is very cold,
most of the time muddy, and sometimes you can go ice skating on the lake.
This is designated toward Jr. and Sr. Highers only. This retreat is
also a chance to see friends that you have not gotten to see since last
summer. It is also a recharge before going back into the world.
COST: $40/youth
